Administrative Assistant
The Workers’ Compensation Reinsurance Association (WCRA), a nonprofit association
providing workers’ compensation reinsurance protection to all Minnesota insurers
and self-insurers, is seeking an individual for the position of Administrative
Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the premium department
- Review documents for grammar, punctuation, and compliance with company standards
- Prepare pre- and post-audit documents for premium audits
- Perform preliminary review of member data submissions for accuracy and
completeness
- Coordinate and monitor projects
- Prepare and monitor mailings
- Maintain departmental procedures
- Review correspondence and checks created by claims staff for accuracy and
approve
- Track, scan, and label documents in Association's electronic documents storage system
- Process daily mail on backup basis
- Perform receptionist tasks on a backup basis
Education and Skills:
- A high school diploma or equivalent with six years administrative assistant experience; or completion of an accredited secretarial school program with four years of experience
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities
- Clear and accurate understanding of grammar and punctuation rules
- Ability to draft, proofread, and correct documents
- Detail oriented
- Strong aptitude for working with numbers
- Ability to work on a team or individually
