Claims Services

The claims services department provides expert claims and medical management advice in catastrophic injuries and assists members in areas such as reserving practices and settlement evaluation. Once a claim exceeds the retention limit, the WCRA claims staff supports members in filing reimbursement requests and provides prompt payment of the correct reimbursement amount. It is our goal to balance the needs of members, injured workers, and employers while protecting our own financial integrity.

As an added service to our members, we offer the ability to review claims reported to the WCRA and to electronically submit Loss Reporting Forms and Reimbursement Requests using the WCRA Portal.

To assist members in managing Minnesota workers’ compensation injuries, the WCRA also provides several helpful calculators as well as charts and tables useful when administering workers’ compensation claims in the Minnesota jurisdiction.
