Board Members
The Board of Directors is responsible for establishing the WCRA's policies and procedures, for overseeing the management of the association, and for retaining and directing its professional staff. Board membership is drawn from the business community, the insurance industry, organized labor, state government, and the public. The Executive Committee has authority to act for the Board between meetings. State law specifies the composition of the Board, which includes:
- Four insurer representatives elected by insurer members of the WCRA
- Two self-insurer representatives elected by self-insurer members of the WCRA
- Two employer representatives appointed by Commissioner of Department of Labor and Industry
- Two employee representatives appointed by Commissioner of Department of Labor and Industry
- One public representative appointed by Commissioner of Department of Labor and Industry
- Commissioner of Finance (or Designee)
- Executive Director, State Board of Investment (or Designee)
